Trace Adkins' "Apprentice" Finale Aids Charity

March 25, 2008 - Trace Adkins has said since the day he accepted a spot on "The Celebrity Apprentice" that the main reason he did Donald Trump's reality series was to have a positive impact on his charity of choice, the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network.

Last week, Trace talked about FAAN in a segment on the NBC show, and this Thursday, if he defeats rival Piers Morgan in the finale, he'll pick up a $250,000 check for the charity.

"I'm really surprised to be here and extremely proud to be representing FAAN," Trace says. "I intend to conclude my time on this show with my dignity intact, and I will try to be as respectful as Piers will allow me to be."

Trace also has two ways that fans can contribute to FAAN through the TV show. Trace is slated to perform his current single, "You're Gonna Miss This," live Thursday night, and immediately afterward, you can download that version with proceeds designated for FAAN. In addition, "Apprentice" will enable viewers to text a $1 donation to Trace and Piers' charities.
