YOUR Q & A WITH CHARLIE AND DEBBIE
With the re-launch of wsocfm.com, we wanted to do away with the usual biography stuff you always see. Instead of us telling you what we think you want to know about us, we'd prefer to tell you what YOU TELL US you want to know about us. We'll be adding to and changing these out as we get them, so start asking! Whatever you want to know, we want to share, so click here to send us a question: charlieanddebbieshow@wsocfm.com.
4. Hello Charlie and Debbie. I am amazed that a husband and wife can work so well together. You both sound like you have a great time on the show. Debbie doesn't bribe you before you go on the air does she???? Elaine/Charlotte
Thanks for your kind words about the show. As far as a bribe goes...I WISH! If anything, I bet she'd be bucking for a bribe if she thought: a. She could get one -or- b. Felt like I could afford one (as she does the family finances, she knows better!)
5. I love hearing about your son. Ours is 5 and I feel like, by listening to your stories, we're not alone! Tell me something, though...your son's name, Hogan, is that a family name? It's kind of unusual. Jennifer/Lancaster
Good luck with that 5 year old! Hogan is named after legendary golfer, Ben Hogan (Charlie's a golf fanatic). It turned out to be a prophetic name as well. Ben Hogan was once in a terrible car accident that doctors said he'd never recover from. He not only recovered, but in 1953 won 3 out of the four tournaments he entered and all of them were "Majors" (The Masters, The US Open, and The British Open...he didn't enter the PGA Championship or he'd have won that, too!). Our Hogan was born 2+ months pre-mature and spent the first 7 weeks of his life in a NICU in Augusta, Ga. and to say he's recovered completely would be a MAJOR understatement.
6. I love listening to you guys, but I could NEVER work with my wife! Do you guys EVER spend any time apart? Have any hobbies-separately? James/Troutman
We get some variation of this query all the time. We've never given it much thought as we've been working together 13 of the 14 years we've been married. It's just what we do and Debbie's been my best friend longer than she's been my wife, so who wouldn't want to work with their best friend? As far as hobbies go, there could never be ENOUGH golf to satisfy my love/desire for the game; and Debbie loves to cook. Our greatest joy in life though is another "together" activity, and that's just being Hogan's Mom and Dad.

The young mother set her foot on the path of life. 'Is this the long way?' she asked. And the guide said: 'Yes, and the way is hard And you will be old before you reach the end of it. But the end will be better than the beginning.'
But the young...>>Read more...

Engineering Question of the Day:
Q.) How much does a house weigh???
A.) Just a tad more than a rural two-lane bridge can hold, apparently.
SO WOULD THIS BE COVERED BY HOUSE INSURANCE, CAR INSURANCE , OR, DOES IT COME UNDER ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE ???
